I didn't have high expectations when I booked to stay here in July 2015, but it was close to Canada's Wonderland so we decided to stay here. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was the smell of the place....it reeked of a bug spray smell mixed with cigarette smoke. The carpets and walls looked like something out of a crime scene on TV. ..stains everywhere and just plain filthy. The dim lighting in the halls couldn't even hide the mess. We booked a non-smoking room and obviously were ignored. The room was smelly and the blanket on the bed had multiple cigarette burns holes in them. The air conditioner wasn't working and the chairs at the desk had legs so wobbly that you couldn't sit on them. We asked for another room and at first was told we couldn't have one. I asked if it was possible to cancel our reservation. The lady at the desk said we would have to pay for the first night. We left the next morning and stayed at the Holiday Inn down the street, which was so much nicer. We travel often and I've never seen the likes of this place. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here.
