I am writing this review to share with anyone who may read this the wonderful experience that I had at Good Samaritan Hospital Cancer Genetics and High Risk Program. The Director, Conni Murphy, was referred to me by my daughter who had been diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. She had genetic testing and the cancer was deemed to be sporadic and she tested negative for all gene testing.
i decided to go through all of the genetic testing possible, for the benefit of my daughters and grandchildren, as I had a history of colon cancer and there was cancer throughout my Mother's side of the family. i was pleased to learn that both my colon cancer and my daughter's breast cancer were not genetic in nature, and that all of my cancer markers for all known genetic testing were negative.
Connie Murphy was professional, caring, and was truly personally concerned with both me and my daughters. She explained everything in detail and I never felt rushed or that I ever left my meetings with her with questions left unanswered. I would strongly recommend Conni Murphy, and the Cancer Genetics and High Risk Program at Good Samaritan to anyone in need of those services.
