Grew up in Fort Lauderdale and this is definitely one of the best seafood markets in South Florida. Very well staffed, excellent customer service, fish is always fresh. Never saw or checked personally anything that was not caught more than 48 hrs prior. I have 40 years of offshore saltwater fishing and know my fish. They will call you if what you are looking for is not available when it comes in. Only place to get Live soft shells! Beautiful U-10 Florida Pinks. Hog Snapper, Strawberry or Black Grouper even white king salmon, all possible. Only place I can find ipswich clams regularly. They will do whatever you need done to your selection so it's ready to cook. Provide ice and a lemon or lime in your bag to keep things cool on your way home. They also have some gourmet type sauces, pastas, fresh vegetables, seasonings etc. And a freezer section with things out of season but honestly I never turn around to see, always staring at their fine seafood. Best keylime pie! And always have a soup of the day that many miss. Excellent everytime if you remember to ask. Advice, if you don't see what you want always ask! I wanted a loin of Yfin Tuna and the delivery just pulled up in the back and they were nice enough to get the tuna from the truck and let me pick from the beautiful perfect colored loins in the back! Just passed the chevron going east on Commercial blvd. Between US1 and Bayview drive. On left or North side.
