It might be a cool, historical hotel, but it was not worth it. When I checked in, my room was not ready 40 minutes after check in. They said they would text me when my room was ready but never did, I had to go to the desk and ask. Once I got my keys I figured I'd be good to go. Ha! The first set of keys didn't work. After waiting in line to get new keys, they also didn't work. Finally security comes up and takes about 10 minutes to get into my room. She says she'll bring me new keys. She never does. I go out and about and come back and midnight and ask for keys. I explain the situation hoping to avoid more drama, and the desk guy says maybe I'm putting the key in backwards (LOL). Surprise, the key didn't work. I had to get security to come up and then go back up their office and come up again to let me in. Finally, I get into my unit (still with no keys) to discover a "gift" from my first complaint. See picture. It's honestly humorous they think fruit would cover this. I'm completely done with IHG hotels. I travel for work and I don't have time for amateur hour. Also, I typed this entire message while waiting for my keys to be made at 1am.
