If I could give ZERO Stars I would. I started a membership with Elements when I was living in the area. I had 5 massages stacked up in my account and knew I wouldn't be able to use them any time soon so I called this location to cancel my membership. I was told I would need to come in in person. I went to a location that was close to where I currently live and asked to cancel my membership. The woman told me it would be no problem, pulled out the paperwork, and then said, "Oh you didn't open your membership in this location. I can't let you cancel your membership here," and pulled back the cancellation paperwork! She then smiled and informed me I was still free to use my massages in that location Soooo it's not like it's a matter of being a different franchise. I called the Littleton location again and was informed I would still need to come in person to cancel. I DON'T LIVE THERE ANYMORE!!! At this point after receiving two more UNAUTHORIZED $99 charges to my debit card, I took matters to my bank. I had to dispute a $99 charge FOUR different times over the last six months with my bank. Even though my bank put entire BLOCK on Elements Massage, they keep charging my account using a different 'Merchant code' which is super sneaky and fraudulent! My bank actually had to send me a new debit card to try to remedy this situation. To keep charging me for a membership even though I have no contract, have repeatedly called to cancel, and visited my local location in person....are you kidding me!? How desperate are you for business to operate in such an unethical manner!
So today, after receiving yet another automated text message to come in and use my massages, I responded stating I wanted them to stop charging my account for a membership I have repeatedly tried to cancel. Today I received a call from the most incredibly rude "manager" whose tone could only be described as snobbish, arrogant and annoyed. This woman repeatedly spoke over me. She stated that my membership could be terminated that she would EMAIL me paperwork and that they didn't need my business.
I would never recommend this company for their complete lack of professionalism. If these are the kind of people who they have running their locations I feel sorry for the massage therapists who are trying to book and keep clientele. I do still visit this area from time to time but you bet I'll be using my leftover massages elsewhere! Thanks Karen
