2 days ago I called Bloomingdales White Plains to inquire abt their credit card and benefits. I specifically asked and mentioned abt using the card inside LV boutique and the Bloomingdales Customer Rep I spoke to confirmed there is a $250 incentive to be deducted from opening brand new Bloomingdales credit card and once more I asked the same question if that includes LV. The Customer Rep said Yes! But it is capped at $250. Today I applied for and got approved right away for a new credit card. Marched over to LV and ordered the one I like. At the parking lot, I called Bloomingdales the 2nd time to confirm the $250 incentive still applies and to my dismay, apparently I was misinformed!!!! I explained the reason for signing up blah blah blah but at this point, after being put on hold for a while, Bloomingdales wont hear me out. So, I am going to return the LV bag using that darn credit card which I didnt need in the first place. I wont pay a single penny for being misinformed...retail apocalypse? Not so far behind if your customer service continues to be nasty. I aint going back thats for sure.
