If I could give this zero stars I would!!

If I could give this zero stars I would!!
Well... My husband and I travel at least 2x per month for work. So we are in a lot of hotel rooms!
Needless to state, I do NOT recommend staying here unless your goal is to be lukewarm, uncomfortable and basically not happy with anything at your hotel.

To list some issues:
1) AC in room did not work but they seemed to think as long as the temp was within 10 degrees of your goal, all was good.
2) max allowance per room with 2 beds was 2 towels. Period.
3) laundry room ,aka 1 washer & dryer, thermostat was also broken and blazing hot in there.
4) elevator sounded like cable was gonna snap any second.
5) huge water stains on ceiling, but hey each room comes equipped with a free standing dehumidifier (water issues much?)
6) Toiletries are roughly 10-year old travel Paul Mitchell product (tip...the packaging dates it...)
7) the icing that made me write this review--- we had NO HOT WATER this morning. At all. When I called down, the lady said no, we aren't out of hot water. I replied oh ok, well can you send someone up to room #2** and her reply is no, but we did sell out... I'm like OF HOT WATER... She replies no rooms. Hmmmm. Umkay... Literally the one thing that the hotel could offer that was great and as expected was hot water. Epic fail!
8) hottest days of the year and pool is not open. I mean not even water in it. Take it off the website people. You don't have a pool. You have an empty hole with a tarp on top of it.
9) the hole in the pavement as you exit the property is so big you could lose a child in it.

Things that weren't bad:
Linens and blankets were good quality.
Good lighting.
Hot water on day 1
Free breakfast, my 15 year old said it was ok.
The front desk workers were nice but ineffectual.

I would recommend anywhere else.

PS: Marriot people, don't respond. I see where you've responds to other reviews to these same issues and nothing's changed. So. Don't bother.
