A fabulous day! Went in December. Definately need hats and good shoes for walking. It is a massive zoo. All animals were very well looked after. Exceptionally clean. One big tip.... if you go on a busy day by ferry (a great way to get there) there will probably be a huge queue for the cable car to take you up the mountain to the entrance. The wait time was over 45mins the day we went. (Admittedly school holidays). Don't wait in the queue!!! Catch the bus up! Complimentary buses run up all the time. Then catch the cable car back down to the ferry when you leave! No wait at all. You'll have a super day. Excellent value for the price!
