On July 8th, my grandmother celebrated her 70th birthday. My mother, unable to attend because her husband was in ICU, called the restaurant to speak with the manager. She described my grandparents to Tony (that was the manager's name) and explained the situation. She told the guy that she was very upset she couldn't be there so she wanted to order and pay for a piece of cake for each of them. The manager, after listening to her request, told her that he would take care of it. Once my grandparents arrived and he made certain that it was them, he called my mother and let her know that he had found them. At the end of their meal and after they had eaten their cake, they got the check, only to realize that the entire meal, drinks included had been comped. When they asked why, he told them, "Your daughter, Cindy JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAD A GREAT BIRTHDAY AND SHE LOVES YOU!!" Even after all he had already done, he took pictures of them, called my mother, and emailed the photos to her!!!! GREAT ACT OF KINDNESS!!!! <3
