No procedure or surgery done but charging my insurance an outrageous $43000 for my two night unnecessary stay. They still haven't sent any of us an itemized bill to show what they are really charging me for. What a corrupt medical system we have in this country

I was sent here from St. Agnes with fractured scapula, ribs and a slightly punctured lung. The doctors here were like vultures as they kept prescribing me the tests that were just completed at St Agnes. They were also not interested in helping me once I told them I don't live there which meant I will not be going to see them at their private practices during my recovery. They left me in the emergency room all night just because I refused the unnecessary procedures and scans. Nurse refuse to give me water even though the doctor has cleared it. I was tossed around recklessly by the staff even though I was screaming with pain. They moved me to icu even though I only have couple of fractures just so they can rack up the hospital bill. They billed my insurance an exorbitant amount of $41000 for my two night stay there. After this experience, I would rather die than ever end up in a hospital. It's a shame that all these medical professionals and hospitals care is to squeeze as much out of a patient as possible rather than truly caring for them
