We specifically chose this resort based upon that beautiful picture of the pool. We just returned from our stay. The tall slide was closed the ENTIRE time. The smaller slide had so little water pressure, that the kids were pushing themselves down the tube. The hot tubs were also closed the ENTIRE time. The lazy river will cost you $9 per person/per day if you want a tube. We stayed at the Disney Beach Club and tubes were included.
The townhouses in the West Village were so far away from the pool area, that you need to drive. We overheard so many guests complaining that after walking the several blocks to the shuttle benches, that they had to wait a long time before a shuttle would come.
The basketball courts and tennis courts were also too far to walk with kids.
Back to the townhouses. Our townhouse was newly renovated. They forgot to remove the cockroaches though. We opened the door, and the kids screamed. Dead on the floor giant three inch cockroach. We calmed them down, had them look around. Bad idea, more dead bugs.
We brought a box of Krispy Kreme with us, in the morning a live cockroach was enjoying our dozen donuts.
We found seven bugs and one frog. We had to sleep with the lights on because they were afraid of the bugs.
We complained to the manager on duty, who replied with "I'm sorry. Oh I didn't know that the slides and hot tubs were closed."
Save your money. Save your vacation. Try someplace else. This was terrible.
