Persistence required. While my story might be a little lengthy it is critical people have the details. I decided I would enroll in RCC. During the entire enrollment I felt completely on my own. For most of the process I blindly followed a new direction from a new person/department. I wanted to understand the process but nobody seemed to really know or would not say. I had to take one step at a time until my first classes started. I finally got through the whole process and even finished two classes with a passing grade. I was working full time while taking two classes twice a week. I had to withdraw after illness and infection would have it no other way. Once healed, I knew working full time and taking two classes was unrealistic. I was surprised and disappointed about how much they expect you to teach yourself. I thought most of the learning would come from the teachers, not so. You cannot afford mistakes and you cannot afford to fall behind.
