This is a fantastic Zoo to visit with lots of unique animals that you don't get to see in other AUS Zoo's and most of the animals were active. the cost is worth the experience.

The gardens in the zoo are really nice with plenty of shady spots and there are some grassed areas for people to have picnics or just relax, also nearer the water animals there is a water pool for little kids.
also there are some parts throughout the zoo you get to see the views of Sydney.

unfortunately some of the Zoo was closed off due to upgrades for new enclosures and attractions however this did not take anything away from our experience as there was plenty to see and do as well as that the closed off sections looked presentable and respectful.
