I recently stayed at four different 'upper-midscale' hotels in the Columbia area within a two week period, all similarly priced and booked through a third-party website. I'd rank this Hampton Inn second (2B) of the four. Typical H.I. experience although this one might be just a little bit lagging in terms of age, 'feel', etc. Busy surrounding area, not really an upscale neighborhood. I would stay here again.
