Excellent Museum! Do visit here when you stay in Basel for more than one day! The Monet exhibition (currently only until the end of May 2017) is the best I have seen in Europe: the museum gathered a bunch of master pieces of Monet from different museums all over the world, which cover nearly the life span of Monet.

Besides, if you do not have a Museum Pass, consider some waiting time if you come and visit after 12:00, especially on Sundays. Last but not least, the building itself is also worth visiting. Oh yes, do not forget check out the garden and have a relaxed walk outside!
