Review of Wheelgate Park

Went for my daughters birthday.

Went for my daughters birthday.
It was so depressing!
The rides, no, the entire place looks so tired and run down.
Granted, it was out of peak season, so there won't be as many staff or as much going on but it was desolate. You had to go and find members of staff to go on anything, not just poke your head around a corner because they were covering a few things, but you had to go and hunt for them.
The whole place was just, I dunno, a bit dirty, marks up the toilet walls etc. And looking very tired.
Being out of season doesn't excuse this, I book most of my days off out of season so we can enjoy places when it's not busy, and we understand theres not as many events going on, not as many staff etc.
But places tend to be cleaner, queues shorter, and even though there's less staff, they seem to be quickly available.
Within an hour we were actually depressed we had took our daughter there on her birthday.
