Although the work was completed and I have no issue with that, I do have an issue with how the service writer kept us informed. I check-in the car on Tuesday at 9am. on Wednesday at 10:15am, I texted the service writer for an update. At 12:29PM I received the update with a quote for the service. I quickly responded to go ahead with the service. On Wednesday at 4:09 I texted the service writer requesting an update. No response. I called to service writer and left a message. No response. I called a second time to the service writer, and asked if it was completed. He at that time informed me the the part was not available and would have the part on Friday (Thursday was Thanksgiving) and would complete the job. On Friday the service writer call me around 10am informing me the car for completed.
1. On Tuesday afternoon the service writer should have call me to inform me that the car would not be looked at or completed today.
2. On Wednesday the service writer should have informed me that they do not have the part and set the expectations on Friday.
