The service department needs constant 'babysitting...

The service department needs constant 'babysitting' from the customer. I gave my car in, and had to follow up with the 'service rep' instead of hearing back from them. That's unacceptable; I asked several times to keep me in the loop about what is happening. For example, I was surprised find out that the car was just 'sitting there' for 4 days without being touched at one point. For an 'Autonation'-sized company, I should not have to micromanage my car's progress, and have to wait nearly 3 weeks to get a NOX sensor diagnosed and replaced.

Please be aware, this is my second experience with this dealership's service department that took longer than expected and I had to micro-manage the progress. So hopefully you have more time on your hands if you are going with them.

On a positive end, the transportation staff is very polite.
