@ Emily-- Your daughter waited for 5 hrs in the trauma center because SHE WAS having a PANIC ATTACK and there were people that needed treatment for major life threatening trauma. Panic attacks are not life threatening, but, they are very scary for the patient. FYI, 10/10 times if a patient is critical they will get treated immediately. If you go to the ER and are waiting for a long time that is a good thing, it means you are not that sick or injured.
