Mall of Asia is a massive seaside mall with dozens of selections on almost everything you could ever imagine. It almost feels like a small town than a mall since it is surrounded by a convention centre, condominiums, hotels, and offices. The mall itself also seems to be perennially under-construction. New extensions and stores are being added all the time. Currently under construction is the Galleon Museum, and plans are currently being finalized for its massive roof to be converted into some sort of a multipurpose space.
The main gripe I have about the mall is that it was intentionally designed for people to get lost in its maze of stores. The overhead signages are absolutely useless since they often do not say whether or not something is on the 2nd or the Ground Floor. The mall also doesn't have prominent signages or prominent landmarks that patrons could use to orient themselves within the mall. This is completely opposite to what one experiences when one goes to visit other malls. Likewise, there were very few digital kiosks available for people to find their way inside the mall. The redeeming part about the mall is that it has great views of Manila Bay. The only complaint I have is that the mall should have provided enough benches so that people don't have to climb on top of the sea wall. Alternatively, the mall could have at least provided steps for patrons to use so they could climb over and seat on the sea wall with dignity.
