Most Iconic place in NY or even the US. If you do not take a picture here when you are NYC the that trip is wasted. The best thing is to park in NJ boat area and take. Boat over to Statue of Liberty if you are not planning for NYC trip, the parking in NYC is crazy and not worth the money. What we did was park in NJ and went to NYC on the return boat and for their walked around NYC, enjoyed the citi and by evening took a train from Penn to the NJ side and took a taxi cost me half of parking and could see NYC without having to fine parking at every location. We could even go in to any restaurant when we needed and even to Empire State Building without worry of car.
