I have 30 plus years in the restaurant business. I usually do not write reviews. However, my brothers and my experience with this establishment makes it necessary to do so.

In a scramble to get our mother taken care of for mothers day we settled on having a meal delivered to her and her husband. Their favorite seafood restaurant had recently closed and will not reopen. To make things more complicated, I live in Chicago and my brother in So Cal. My mom mentioned Red Fish Seafood Grill as being recommended by her trainer. So, we sent her a menu for them to go over and tell us what they wanted and we would have it delivered. My brother contacted the restaurant to arrange the meal. Unfortunately, some of what my mom and her husband wanted was not available on their Door Dash menu for delivery. Enter restaurant manager Shay (sp?). Shay arranged with ownership for their delivery menu to be updated in order to facilitate our mother's selections. And, thus their meal, as hoped for, accommodated and delivered.

As I mentioned earlier, i am extremely familiar with the inner workings and challenges of operating restaurants. Doing this not only goes above and beyond, it's unheard of. I cannot emphasize enough the level to which Shay and her ownership went to make our mothers special day very special.

One saying oft pontificated by restaurant operators is to have, "a genuine concern for the guest". Few, are willing to actually follow through though. This establishment is and did. They have earned our mother's loyalty. Even if she hadn't, "absolutely loved the food", she would frequent this establishment. She has found her new favorite restaurant. My brother and i are excited to visit as soon as we are in town. I suggest those of you in the area do so as well.
