The place has definitely changed since I ve been here. Which was about 20 years ago.
I miss the yelling behind the counters. The little guy with the Yiddish accent. The fresh smell of pastrami lingering as you open the door to get of bite of that smell. There was an event about .02 miles from Katz, so I decided to get a taste of the great sammich. All I can say is, I know it would have tasted much better hot. Room temperature was good, but hot would be better.
