We had champagne afternoon tea. It was slightly disappointing. The sandwiches were pleasant. Next tier had 4 scones which we found too much. 2 would have been sufficient as they were very filling.
The cakes were of mixed standard. The strawberry shortcake was delicious as was the fruit jelly. The lemon meringue cakes were quite unpleasant which was a disappointment.
The surroundings were lovely.
