First off, amazing wine! Best Bordeaux-style wine I had in Napa, hands down.

On the flip side, Opus One is not cheap and they're certainly not giving it away at their winery. I found the front desk staff to be very friendly and accommodating (we got in at the end of the day without a reservation, which is probably not a good plan), but the staff that poured our glasses were a bunch of 20-something snobs who seemed to think they were somehow essential to the production of this epic wine.

So, do you want to taste a truly amazing wine served in a beautiful estate while you're in Napa? If so, visit Opus One. But go for the wine, not the friendly atmosphere.
