I placed an order online through the photo lab. Was told my payment was declined, so attempted to place my order a second time. The system told me my order was a duplicate order, so this lead me to believe that my order actually went through the first time. However, using common sense, I attempted to call twice to have someone confirm this for me. No one ever called me back. The order had been placed for the one-hour service, which I paid more for BTW. Being in a pinch to get these images, I drove to Precision Camera in hopes my order had been received and fulfilled. When I get there, I learned that it had not. O joy.
First the associate tells me that it's probably because my information didn't match up...like maybe I had changed my name or address recently. Nope, that's not it. She then tells me they've been having this issue a lot. Oh good to know! I tell her I will call my husband at home and see if he can resubmit the order, and I'm then informed they won't be able to fulfill my order for another two days. Wait...what! I just placed an order and paid more for one hour. "Oh well there's a way to fix that in the system, but no one here right now knows how to do that." Keeping my calm but clearly showing disappointment that I just drove all the way from south Austin, her response, is "it's just a really crazy time right now." As the old saying goes, "Excuses only satisfy the person who makes them."
Precision Camera, you need to get your online act together and be better prepared for the holiday rush.
