We have been guests at Het Heijderbos Center Parc several times. Unfortunately, the wild water course and the outside area of the Aqua Mundo were closed, which we could have said when making a reservation by telephone. The check-in was quite uncomplicated except that the employee was not that trained and it felt like it took a person an eternity to book.
Finally arrived at the bungalow and the next surprise awaited. It hadn't been cleaned. This was easy to recognize by the half sandpit in the living area or by the fly graveyard called windowsill.
We thought everything was not so wild and we informed the reception directly. This promised to send an employee over.
Unfortunately, it stayed with the promise, so that we then cleaned ourselves. While cooking, it was noticed that the previous cookware was not really cleaned either (e.g. grease residues on the spatula). The usual pack with a sponge and matches was also missing. After the complaint we were allowed to play bowling for an hour.
To draw a quick conclusion:
We were used to it differently. It is a shame when half of a 3-day stay is spent complaining about complaints and then having to fix it yourself. Recovery is different.
