I ordered a small coffee in a mug "for here", and was given a single-use cup and told it was because all the mugs were dirty. The shop wasn't very busy, and I could see clean mugs behind the counter. Not sure if it was because I ordered a small drink, but many people in the shop were also given single-use cups. If people are staying in, please give them mugs, or solve the issue with a bit of common sense and wash a dirty mug. Sustainability is really important to me as a consumer and I was a little confused and disappointed so I just left. It's our duty as consumers and businesses to reduce our waste, and was very disappointed to see most customers staying in with single-use coffee cups.
