On 08/18/20 my dishwasher broke and so I ordered a new one from Mediamarkt on 08/21/2020. When I still hadn't received an order confirmation days later, I asked customer service.

I was told that the order was not in the system and that I should send the screenshots that I made when ordering. I did and received the message on August 26th, 2020 that there were technical problems with the order acceptance by Mediamarkt.

The order was subsequently accepted, but with an indefinite delivery date (when the order was placed, 09/15/20 was specified at the latest). Despite multiple calls and a few emails to customer service, I did not receive a delivery date until 09/17/20.

I was only contacted by Hermes on September 18th, 2020 and the delivery was announced at short notice for September 21st, 2020.

The day before yesterday, the machine was also delivered, but the Hermes employee refused to carry out the assembly that was also ordered because allegedly there was no access to the connections. He also didn't want to dismantle the old machine and take it with him (as ordered by me).

I had the machine taken back with me and asked a heating contractor about an installation service, but today I found out from Mediamarkt that the dishwasher had already been returned and that the only thing left to do was reverse the purchase.

I can hardly imagine a more chaotic approach and less customer-friendly treatment. I can only strongly advise against buying large electrical appliances from Mediamarkt.
