Mountain Environmental was compassionate about my problem, which was a huge amount of liquid mercury I inherited from the previous owner of my shop. I got quotes from all over, and even talked with a guy in Russia who wanted the mercury for free. But that's illegal, and really hard to imagine making it actually happen successfully! (Dangerous transport > Boat > Pacific Ocean > Russia..) Anyway, Mountain Environmental came in with a reasonable quote for proper disposal of mercury, beating out all the others- and they were local to me. Long story short, Mountain Environmental turned my mountain into a mole hill. I'll always be grateful to these folks! I know they are often unsung heroes...
