I guess I am bias. I don't gamble. And I definitely don't smoke and the fact that we have to traverse the smoke laden casino is awful. The rooms are nice.. Surprisingly absence of smoke pollution ..the conference venue was decent and friendly folks at doors. Why not make an entrance to hotel desk and room access outside if casino?
