scheduled my car for repair M-F to minimize cost of a rental car. went in a couple weeks before to sign the contract so they could order parts. apparently a bracket was on its way and expected to arrive Thursday. but it didn t arrive until the following Tuesday. Instead of 5 days of a rental car, i had to pay for 9. when i asked what happened they said manufacturing/shipping has been delayed due to covid, which i totally get. they said some parts have taken 6 months. since my car was totally driveable (i had been driving for a month since the accident), i would have liked to have been told the part wasn t in the shop on day 1 bc i would have just rescheduled. especially since they later told me they have had a lot of delays. Also, i wasnt told any of this until Friday afternoon so i had to change all my plans last minute.
the work was done well and my car was clean when i finally got it back.
