Nice view of marina, friendly staff. Get concierge level if you can. Fun family games in lobby/outside. Yes pool is small but heated. Hot tub is large. Rent bikes in venice beach to go north for cheaper. Only here 2 nights. Santa Monica would also be a good place for 2 nights. Would not stay longer than 2 nights though...
