ou will not meet anyone that will make the mortgage application as easy and straightforward as Duncan has for me. He knows mortgages and the application process inside out and understands individual circumstances which enabled the whole process to go smoothly. I found the banks and Post Office simply whitewash applications by applying same set of rules and red tape to all applications with little or no regards to personal circumstances. I'm a self employed IT contractor and I made an application to the Post Office for a mortgage. I had to spend a month going back and forward with different pieces of paper and forms, with face to face meetings with their mortgage adviser, only to be told that they will not be lending to me and with no clear reason why. From my experience the banks mortgage advisers do not have people adequately qualified or knowledgeable to deal with self-employed or IT contractors but they will not tell you this from the outset and they take you through their long and drawn out mortgage application process only to tell you after a month that you have not been suitable (damaging your credit score and future changes of success). I was in the position that the flat I bought was put back up for sale because it took so long for the Post Office to come back to me. Duncan turned this around for me very quickly and secured me a mortgage with an excellent rate that I would not have been able to access if I went to the bank directly. Duncan gave fantastic service and advice which was second to none and light years ahead of anything available on the high street. I can not recommend him or his services high enough. I only wish i knew about him sooner. Thank you Duncan!
