"The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World" was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the United States. Its a huge sculpure on a island facing New York skyline. We took statue cruise from battery park. Its the only cruise which take you to the Liberty and Ellis islands. Do not take any other private run boats and cruise because they will just go around the island and you will not be able to go on to the island. The statue cruise will first take you to Liberty island. At the Liberty island do not miss the museum. Also if you have pedestal ticket or crown tickets, you can go up. The crown tickets are sold in advance on website. Then you can take next boat to Ellis island . From there take next boat back to battery park.
