I am genuinely curious how you can triage someone with a hard lump on their leg 2 weeks after having an angiogram (i.e. femoral catheter) so that they aren't even assigned a doctor for over 5 hours.

The doctor who did the procedure told this person to go to the ER at the hospital where the procedure was done. Over 5 hours later, 1 set of vitals and blood work has been done. No one has checked on them, no doctor has been assigned, and she was brushed off the one time she got the courage to tell a nurse that her pain had increased.

How do you know this isn't a femoral aneurysm? An infection? This department is by far one of the most incompetent emergency rooms we have ever been to, and that includes the 8 to 12 hour waits we've had at Clovis Community (where the patient can at least have a family member present to look after and advocate for them). I hope I never need to go to the ER myself. I fear this ER would allow people to die in their waiting room.

P.S. The bathrooms are full of urine, fecal matter, and blood.
