This occurred at the lacey store. Complete and utter joke. I went to purchase 2 handguns on sale and got a delay, which happens that's fine. I then am alerted to a proceed but cant pickup the guns because an employee sent the paperwork to the local agency which caused another delay until the 20th. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks which is after my wifes birthday (no gift for her now) and I'll be out of state from the 18th to the 4th which means its after the 30 day period so I have to apply for purchase all over again. No apology, no explanation at all. The gun counter manager even said "it was a stupid mistake, you look like the type of guy who's made a stupid mistake". Not very bright to call an upset customer stupid! It also flagged me so I cant even purchase a gun ANYWHERE! So it really screwed up my plans for a birthday gift followed by insults and zero attempt to rectify or even apologize for the massive mistake by cabelas. I would buy a gun elsewhere but cabelas made sure to screw that option up. Will never shop here again thanks to the lacey stores incompetence and complete disrespect. I'm not the type to ask for compensation but something needs to be done. I've spent over $3000 here in the last 3 months alone.
