An additional service was pushed down without being asked
We just wanted to buy a monitor. When asked why an additional insurance worth about 15% of the additional cost of the purchased goods was pushed into us without being asked, the management commented that this advantage would be offered consistently to customers. Wrong answer! We were pushed into something without being asked, which is also a useless product with no real countervalue (specifically, insurance by extending the warranty by 1 year to 3 instead of the 2 years of statutory insurance). Media Markt lost two good customers as a result.
