Once you get over how dated this hotel is (hello brown and mustard pattern carpet), its actually not too bad. The staff are helpful and attentive when required. The rooms are kept clean. The location next to Black Rock is quite amazing. Value for money is not the greatest (there is an extra charge attached to pretty much everything) and the stupid resort fee that is so prevalent with Hawaiian hotels is something to suck up. Having said that, in my experience, the stay was relaxing and enjoyable.
