I was a first-time snorkeler on this trip, so I spent a fair amount of time trying to acclimate myself and not inhale too much sea water! The crew was patient, encouraging, and very safety-conscious, and at no time did I feel unsafe with the sharks. Watching them swim only feet away was a beautifully peaceful and calming experience. Having had additional snorkeling experience since, I would love to go again!
