DO NOT stay here if you like to sleep before 3am. We arrived late on a Friday night (~12am), at which point you have to walk through crowds of people lining up for the nightclub next door/directly underneath the hotel.
Upon arrival we didn t want to faff around with finding the official parking (which I pre-researched, with no prior results as to its location, and couldn t really stop nearby to ask hotel with amount of people/activity around at that time, have included photos of its location). We got lucky and found street meter-parking (free 10pm-9am) along Homer St, 6 mins walk away, and saved ourselves one night of $25 parking.
Once checked-in (nice staff), we made our way to our floor, where we were greeted in the hallway with a smell you d likely find in public toilets.
We were also concerned at this point with the noise from the nightclub, which on the 1st floor at least sounds like it s directly below, including in the bedroom, until approx 3am (our room wasn t street-side).
The same smell occasionally wafts from out of the bathroom if the door is left open, the bed (queen room) also takes up half the room-size.
Bed itself I found comfortable and snug, that s about the only positive we can find (especially for the price).
If the SameSun hostel private rooms are available and cheaper at your time of booking, I d choose there again over this place just on noise-comparison alone.
