The monitor of my thinkpad broke while traveling in Italy, found Elmec on the Lenovo support website.

Now:
1) Among the companies I contacted for the repair, they were the fastest to answer, providing clear indications about the repair, procedure, and expected timeline.
2) They replied to all my questions.
3) They provided a clear quote and timeline.
4) I dropped off the laptop a few days ahead than originally discussed (due to traveling schedule).
5) I was worried about the timing (again, was traveling), pinged them over email, and received an answer within hours with a status update.
6) They called me when the laptop was ready.
7) When I picked it up, it was working :) tested it with me, and quickly left (10 mins total time).
8) Given that the laptop I bought in the USA was still under warranty, they did not charge me, *at all*.

In short: I've rarely experienced this level of quality in *any* IT / computer related activity, and I work in IT.
