Although the decor was pleasant and the wait staff courteous and attentive the flavor was severely lacking.
Veal franchise was flavor-less. Not a hint of lemon, the sauce accompanying the protein was bland and minimal. The veal was average, not a soft thin scalpolini as expected.
No grated cheese was offered.. Only saving grace was the $19 price. Chicken was listed at $17.
Appetizer consisted of crab stuffed mushrooms at $14. They were presented as a quantity satisfactory to share but overwhelmingly fish flavored. The accompanied liquid was also over powered by taste of fish. Sadly not able to enjoy or consume due to the primarily fish flavor, lack of balance for sure.
The bread on the table was standard with foil wrapped butter.
Cocktails were delightful and the olive martini was a treasure.
Incidental music was very pleasant.
The "manager/host" constantly paced through the tables and gave an uncomfortable air. Was quite disturbing/distracting to be walked by so many times. He created unnecessary traffic in an otherwise empty restaurant.
Overall an average experience.
One maybe left wishing the flavor palette and food quality improved.
