The takeaway: Staying at Langdon Hall is a pleasure from the rooms to the dining room to the events every detail has been thought of and treated with care to make the guests' stay truly relaxing and delightful. We've stayed three times, most recently after attending an event called "Eats, Beats & Art" featuring the work of Canadian artist, Norman Busse.

The event: "Eats, Beats & Art" was a very fun evening at the hotel. We enjoyed the thought-provoking talk by the artist, great music by the live band, and a gin-tasting with a local distillery.

Rooms: The rooms are gorgeous, large, and comfortable. The beds and linens are a dream. The bathrooms are luxurious and the White & Co. amenities are lovely (such nice scents!). We appreciate that they are clearly taking some important measures toward more sustainable practices, like having refillable shampoo/conditioner in the rooms. We also enjoyed a beautiful fire laid carefully in the fireplace.

Restaurant: At the restaurant, we've had fabulous experiences at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The wine and cocktail lists are impressive and varied, but for us, the food truly steals the show. We enjoyed every dish all so fresh and colourful even in January!

Etc.: The staff are always polite and knowledgeable. The grounds are lovely and perfectly maintained in every season (we've been in spring, summer, and winter).
