I can't find enough great words to describe my experience at the Mosheim. The owners are the nicest, sweetest people you will ever meet. All the guests felt at home and all our needs were met or exceeded. The breakfast alone is a reason to stay there! The owners' positive, energetic attitude shows in everything they do. Running that B&B is not their job, it's their passion.
The Mosheim is in a quiet, picturesque, quaint location, nestled between other historical residential buildings and 'Main Street" Seguin. This location is not exactly central to things you may want to do in New Braunfels/San Marcos but it is peaceful, secluded and a very short drive from the bigger towns around it. It is definitely a much, much better way to go than staying at a cookie cutter chain hotel closer to the highway! Trust me!
The rooms are beautiful, ornate and very clean. The travertine showers are a dream! I didn't get to try the spa but I spoke with other guests who did and they loved it. The common areas are so pretty and full of history.
The beds are very plush and comfortable and I slept like a log. The house is definitely very quiet in great part due to the great construction.
I truly cannot wait to go back just for the B&B. It is by far the best bang for the buck of any stay I had in the US.
