I like that they notified me of excessive water usage the day that I left the garden hose running. However, getting questions answered is clearly not possible!
Tried to get online with theyre website its constantly down....all this work to open an account...fill out all kinds of paperwork,,,FOR WATER ! no other utilities make you do this....Need to step up to the times !
Should just be called little river sewage because there s not much water involved. Of course you have no choice if you live in this area. Customer service is terrible water taste terrible and they will eventually screw you on your bill at least once. And there s nothing you can do about it
So we had our water cut off for non payment of a bill. We just moved into this property the water is not even in our name. Were made to put in landscaping which caused a leak. LRWS did not offer any relief on the bill which was due to landscaping error. After the leak was fixed the next months bill was even more. LRWS did not inform us that 90 thousand gallons of water was running through our business. We have now installed a brand new Well system and we never have to pay a water bill again. During the installation of our new system we found a cracked pipe, and a huge water leak. So instead of investigating the reason for such a huge water usage they just let precious water flow into the ground. Little River Water and Sewer holds customers hostage for water and will not work with members of the community or small business owners. Now we get clean free water. No chemical additives and no greedy corporate entity strong arming us for water.
The Little River Water Sewer is the Worst Company in Customer Service. In 2016, they charged me with a late fee, I have not been late on any of my payments with them. Little River Water Sewer is paid monthly repeatedly by the bank each month on the same day and paid by the 9th. Payment is due by the 10th. When this started, I called they told me I was late regardless of what I said they would not remove the $3.38. Each monthly they charge me a late fee on the late fee, the amount is now $13.00+. If I don t pay the late fee they are going to turn my water off and then I will need to pay the $13.00+ plus a $35 dollar reconnect fee. My paperwork show I am not late with any payments, as well as bank statements. I filed a complaint with the BBB, Little River Water Sewer did not even respond, they had reached out many times to Little River Water and Sewer. I filed a complain with SC Department of Consumer Affairs, Little River Water and Sewer will not work with them either. It is suggested that I consult with a private attorney or local magistrate s office for additional assistance. I am a public figure and I am very disappointed in how this company treats consumers when they disagree with them.
My mother-in-law recently had an old toilet in a spare bedroom that was leaking. Little River Water and Sewer called to notify her and we were able to fix the toilet's worn out flapper before the problem got any worse. The staff was very professional and polite to us and I want to thank them for saving us time and money in the long run. Great company!
Note to Fred Kisner...We want to thank Karen Walker for a quick response to a problem we were having with our irrigation system...she, walked us through how to find a cut off valve that we didn't even know we had, then called a service guy by the name of Ronnie and he came immediately and helped us discover the problem...A friend Les helped us find out who to call..Thanks to all of you for a job well done. We live in Hidden Lakes Village.
