My husband and I selected the Omni Mandalay in Las Colinas to celebrate our 1st wedding Anniversary.
We enjoyed every minute of the 4 day stay, it was wonderful! One thing that I failed to check was the price of the breakfast buffet in the hotel. I think that $79.00 for 2 people to eat mediocre breakfast food was too pricey. A couple of times when we left our room, upon arrival, we could not enter our room and had to get new key cards. There were also a few times that the hot water ran out and the tub drain was clogged. However, the staff fixed the problems immediately, (without a call from us) so I guess we weren't the only ones experiencing plumbing problems.
The hotel concierge booked our dinner plans and also upon arrival we had champagne, chocolate cake and rose petals in our room. This was a beautiful, romantic gesture and all for free! I booked Gondola Adventures as a surprise to my husband and thank God the weather was beautiful. Our 1st Wedding Anniversary will be one that we will remember for the rest of our lives!
