This hospital is absolutely amazing!!!! I had taken my daughter back in October for some chest discomfort and they wanted to rule out her pancreas so they did a sonogram and checked every organ while they had the machine on. It ended up being acid reflux but while doing an abdominal sonogram they saw gallstones. I was shocked bc prior to finding out my daughter would have random pains but they would go away. I found out that the pain was from stones that move. They were so attentive got my daughter in to see the surgeon and we took it from there. She had her surgery today and everyone from the doctors to the nurses to the parking attendants to the patient liaisons were truly amazing and compassionate! The treatment was outstanding. I felt so comfortable! Another time I took my son to the children's ER bc he had a fever a week after having the flu and I got nervous and had a lingering cough. The doctor said flu symptoms can come and go not to worry but he heard the cough and I explained how it's been a few weeks with a cough and he said a chest can sound clear with a stethoscope but a chest xray can really show if the cough is something to worry about. We did an xray and it showed my son had slight pneumonia in the top left lung. I told my pediatrician that each time I kept asking them about the cough they said the chest sounded clear but never ordered an xray knowing it lingered that long. I am beyond thankful the doctors at Cohen's are thorough and very informative! I love everything about this hospital and highly recommend it!
