Found out just before we boarded our flight out of...

Found out just before we boarded our flight out of California that our connecting flight was cancelled due to a winter storm. Not wanting to spend a night at the airport, my wife booked a room here just before we took off. Just a regular small room with a king bed with a view overlooking the parking ramp. Beware! Seems that if you book a room just before you arrive, Hilton feels that they can take advantage of your situation by substantially increasing the room rate ($100+) than what you would find on the web. Management would not even give us an AARP discount. Money first, people second seems to be the Hilton way. I for one cannot recomend Hilton Hotels.
