Many thanks to Biwek from Opal Consulting for assisting with both a partner visa and visitor visa application for me. The submission for me was a unique one as we met overseas and had a long distance relationship, only seeing each other when my wife was able to get time off work to visit.
Biwek provided us with information and knowledge so we knew what documents and evidence we needed to be keeping records of during our time spent together and apart to assist in demonstrating all the required aspects of the relationship. Biwek and his team in Kathmandu were able to assist me in obtaining the documents I required in Nepal.

Our partner visa was submitted in February and is currently under review. In early March 2020 we submitted our application for a tourist visa which would enable me to come to Australia so we could be together whilst we awaited the outcome of the partner visa. With the timing of the submission and the escalating Coronavirus situation both in Australia and internationally we felt it was doubtful that the tourist visa would get approved at this point in time. To our amazement and joy, the tourist visa for me was approved in mid March, only 16 days after it was submitted, and I was granted the visa for 12 months.

Biwek is now helping us to submit an updated visitor visa as my initial visitor visa had a maximum 3 month stay condition and we don t wish to leave the country due to the current situation with international travel with COVID 19. We are very hopeful that once again with Biwek s assistance we will be granted a new visa so that I can remain in Australia.

My wife and I are both extremely grateful to Biwek and his team for all the effort the put into helping us with these applications, and always making themselves available to assist us when we had questions with the documents we were preparing. The past 3 months together in Australia have been fantastic all thanks to Biwek and his team for helping us through this process.
